Julien Serrano-O'Neil, CNP, ACNP
Julien Serrano-O’Neil, ACNP, is a nonprofit executive, strategist, and community leader working at the intersection of philanthropy, public service, and higher education. He is the Founder, President, and CEO of The JSO Consulting Group, LLC, where he advises nonprofit organizations, public entities, and institutions on strategic planning, fundraising, program development, organizational growth, and community engagement.
Julien currently serves as Chief Relationship Officer, First Vice President, and Chief of Staff of the United Foundation of Central Florida, Inc. (UFCF), where he leads external engagement, strategic partnerships, and philanthropic initiatives. His leadership has contributed to an 80% increase in the organization’s operational budget, significant growth in donor engagement, and an overall economic impact exceeding $47 million. Across his career, he has helped secure more than $1 million in grants, awards, and contracts and has played a key role in advancing programs that have distributed millions of pounds of food, awarded over $500,000 in scholarships, and supported thousands of families across Central Florida.
In 2026, Julien was elected President of the Pine Hills Community Council, Inc., becoming the youngest & first Gen Z President in the organization’s history. Through his PACE Administration—Participation, Accessibility, Collaboration, and Excellence—he is leading efforts to strengthen civic engagement, expand partnerships, and advance community-driven solutions under the guiding vision of “Setting the PACE for a Better Pine Hills.”
A graduate of Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Julien is a recognized leader among the next generation of changemakers. He is a 2022 Orlando Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.’s 2025 40 Under 40 (Gamma Class). He is also a recipient of the 2024 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award under President Joe Biden’s administration. Julien has held key leadership roles across the nonprofit sector, including serving as Chief Financial Officer, Second Vice President for Community Impact & Business Development, and Chief of Staff. He also served on Orange County Public Schools’ Reapportionment Advisory Committee, helping to shape district boundaries impacting thousands of students and families.
Julien is currently pursuing dual master’s degrees in Public Administration (MPA) and Nonprofit Management (MNM) at the University of Central Florida. He is an Advanced Certified Nonprofit Professional (ACNP) through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance and a proud Morehouse Man.
Julien is also the author of the EmpowerED series, a multi-volume body of work focused on nonprofit excellence, leadership development, and community impact. His work reflects a deep commitment to building strong institutions, developing leaders, and creating sustainable pathways for communities to thrive.
