Julien Serrano-O’Neil, MNM, MPA, ACNP, is a nonprofit executive, strategist, civic leader, media entrepreneur, educator, and community advocate whose leadership is rooted in a belief that strong institutions can become powerful vehicles for opportunity, service, and transformation.
He is the Founder, President, and CEO of The JSO Consulting Group, LLC, a strategy and management consulting firm supporting nonprofits, higher education institutions, civic organizations, campaigns, businesses, and mission-driven leaders. Through JSO, Julien provides strategic consulting, nonprofit capacity-building, HR and management support, political and civic strategy, event and program management, public relations, marketing, and organizational development services.
Julien serves as Chief Relationship Officer, First Vice President, and Chief of Staff of the United Foundation of Central Florida, Inc., where his work includes external engagement, strategic partnerships, philanthropic initiatives, executive coordination, and community impact strategy.
In 2026, Julien became President of the Pine Hills Community Council, Inc., becoming the youngest and first Gen Z president in the organization’s history. His PACE Administration centers Participation, Accessibility, Collaboration, and Excellence while advancing resident engagement, public safety partnerships, historical preservation, economic opportunity, and community advocacy.
Julien is also Co-CEO and Head of Operations of Last Shot Media Group, an independent creative holding company operating across public relations, talent booking, media production, communications strategy, licensing, merchandise, and creative development.
His work also extends into higher education as a Visiting Instructor at Morehouse College, connecting his professional leadership with his continued commitment to developing the next generation of leaders.
Julien earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Morehouse College and dual master’s degrees in Nonprofit Management and Public Administration from the University of Central Florida, along with a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management. He holds both the Advanced Certified Nonprofit Professional and Certified Nonprofit Professional credentials through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
